Copyright and Takedown Policy
JetRift respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. This policy describes how to tell us about content hosted on JetRift that you believe infringes your rights. Contact: [email protected].
1. Reporting infringement (US DMCA and similar laws)
Send a notice to [email protected] that includes:
- Your name and contact details (an email address is required) and, if you act for someone else, who you represent.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed.
- The location of the allegedly infringing material on JetRift — ideally the server address (<name>.jetrift.com) and the file or world concerned.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages. Please do not send one unless you are sure.
2. What we do
When we receive a valid notice we act quickly to remove or disable access to the material and tell the owner of the affected server. We do not read private worlds proactively, so identifying the material in your notice helps us act faster.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, email us with: your name and contact details, the material that was removed and where it was before, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live (or, if outside the US, of the courts where we operate), and your signature. Unless the person who complained tells us within 10 business days that they have started a court action, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.
4. Repeat infringers
We will suspend or end the accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
5. Trademarks
“Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang AB; JetRift is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Trademark complaints can be sent to the same address with the registration or other proof of your rights and the location of the content.
